why add a whole bunch of letters and vowels that change the sound of the name completely?
i've often thought surely we would gain greater respect on the ministry if we used a name that is historically and verbally accurate?.
The letter "J" or the corresponding sound when it is pronounced in English does not even exist in Hebrew. Modern Hebrew had to create a new letter to correspond with the English "J" in the 20th century in order to be able to spell and properly pronounce foreign words. The sound of 'Jehovah' has to sound rather silly to Hebrew scholars. Maybe that was a minor part of the reason why the WTS inserted that name into the Greek Scriptures.

As Albert Speer noted, history is going to be very disappointed by Eva Braun. She was just a provincial tart. If the WTS hacked into a site, that would be a serious crime for such a huge entity. A useful organisation to form would be something along the lines of 'Jehovah's Legal Enforcement Services' of dedicated and professional ex-JW's committed to accurately interpreting the law into useful litigation.
